Ever since the age of 4 years old I have had a passion for arts and crafts. I was born into a family where the women were and are very dexterous and industrious in the field of arts and crafts, so I suppose it was inevitable that I would inherit some of their artistic traits.
My aunts and great aunts were experts in the arts of tambour beading, tatting, crochet, embroidery and dressmaking. My mother is a dressmaker and also taught dressmaking, one of my sisters owns and runs a very prestigious store in Knightsbridge London, making one off outfits for her list of very well known celebrity clients, another makes custom drapery.
My passions are hand and machine knitting, and in the last 15 years have taken up the art of Bobbin Lace making. I have had several of my designs published in craft editorials over the years. Here are a few examples of my work.
